As more and more couples are choosing to get married abroad, Bev Miller, a Personal Travel Advisor for Holidays First, tells us where she and her fiancé chose to tie the knot earlier this year and whether it was a match made in heaven.

Ten years after bumping into each other whilst on a hasty shopping expedition to a late-night supermarket in a village near Doncaster, Bev and fiancé Steve Miller took the plunge cruising the Baltic onboard the luxurious Ventura cruise ship from  P&O Cruises.

Bev had spent almost 20 years matching people with their perfect holidays and dream honeymoons, so when it came to her turn to say ‘I do’, her first priority was to draw up a short list of the most romantic locations and wedding ceremony options. But this was not a case of selling snow to the Eskimos, or indeed coals to Newcastle, this was a labour of love – true love. After spending so much time in the past organising overseas weddings for other couples, Bev knew exactly what she was looking for – and she wanted to do it in style...
